📊 Qualifying Marks & Selection Criteria
To be eligible for admission into B.P.Ed. or D.P.Ed. courses, you must satisfy the following:
- Qualifying Marks: General and BC candidates must secure at least 30% of the aggregate marks (i.e., 150 out of 500).
- SC/ST Candidates: There are no minimum qualifying marks for SC and ST categories; they are eligible for ranking regardless of their score.
- Incentive Marks: Up to 100 additional marks can be added to your total if you have valid NCC (C or B) certificates, National/International sports participation certificates, or are a child of Armed Personnel (CAP).
⚖️ Tie-Breaking Rules
If two or more candidates secure the same total marks, the rank is determined as follows:
- PET Marks: Higher marks in the Physical Efficiency Test.
- Skill Test Marks: If still tied, marks in the Skill Test are considered.
- Age: The older candidate (by date of birth) is given the higher rank.
- Common Merit: If all above are equal, they are assigned the same rank.
