HSC - Arts Stream - Arts students contribute in a big way to lower the overall performance of HSC students, say education experts . "The arts section in many colleges usually gets students who choose the stream out of compulsion due to low scores or lack of interest in the science and commerce streams, "Students with good scores in the previous class opt for science and commerce. The few high scorers who prefer arts are in a handful of colleges."
HSC - Commerce Stream
HSC - Commerce Stream - In Commerce Stream there are four compulsory subjects out of which one is a language, one second language or you could even choose Information Technology (IT) and one optional subject between Mathematics & Statistics or Secretarial Practice. The selection of various optional subjects depends upon the college you are in.There are Vivas and Practical marks allotted to one compulsory language paper, one optional language paper or IT and to Mathematics & Statistics but not for Secretarial Practice which in all sum up to 60 marks i.e. 20 marks for each subject.
HSC - Science Stream
