Bachelor of Engineering (BE)

Bachelor of Engineering (BE) - The Bachelor of Engineering commonly abbreviated as (B.Eng) is an undergraduate academic degree awarded to a student after three to five years of studying engineering at university or college. The nature of the qualification varies around the world, hence it may or may not be a professional degree and it may or may not involve undertaking some engineering work. The course may or may not be accredited by a national professional society. Bachelor of Engineering (BE), is an Undergraduate academic degree program in India. It is a professional Engineering Degree awarded by Universities to students. Generally,universities in Country offers Engineering Degree in the following branches such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication or Telecom Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Tool Engineering. In India (AICTE) All India Council of Technical Education, (UGC) University Grand Commission and Government of India are responsible for approving Engineering Colleges and Branches / Courses. Those Universities which have been approved by theses bodies can awarded degree which are legally valid and accepted as qualifiers for jobs in the Central, State Government and also in Private Sector.

Eligibility

The candidates have to passed their Higher Secondary (10+2) Education with Science Stream, they are eligible to take admission in Bachelor of Engineering program in India. Course Duration / Learning Mode : The bachelor degree course requires 4 years of time period in India. It's a full time study program, but some institutes also provides part time and distance learning option in certain criteria.

Further Studies

After the completion of bachelor Degree Program one can go for Master Degree program (M. Tech) and also do Masters of Business Administration (MBA), or can enter the jobs market, because they have already found their jobs during their studies, for instance through an internship.
