Background, academic mission, and departmental profile
(DSA) was established in 2010 at Riverside Transit Campus, Padennakkad to promote education and research in the area of Animal science. It aims to provide opportunity for training in basic sciences and to promote independent and empowering students for career prospects in the modern life science fields such as taxonomy and systematics, genetics, cell and developmental biology, physiology, morphology, neurobiology, animal behavior and ecology.At present, the Department has two Assistant Professors: Dr. L.
