About Course

Diploma in English Language Teaching program is designed to help students develop proficiency in the methods of teaching English. One of the ways of learning a language well is to prepare oneself to teach it. This program trains students to learn different aspects of the English language, from a teacher's point of view. Individuals, who wish to teach English, may opt for this program

The objective of the program is to bridge the gap between theory and practice of the methodology of teaching English. Prospective teachers will find that the focus of the program is primarily on the various aspects of teaching English. The program also aims at developing reading and writing skills as also English vocabulary.

DELT Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
=> Any XII Standard pass-out with minimum 50% marks in English. OR
=> Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University. International / SAARC Graduates from a recognized / accredited University / Institution

=> Purchase the prospectus and application form for Rs 1200/-( by cash) and Rs 1100/- (online Go Green) and 1300/-(Hard Copy By Post).

=> Please note that the Prospectus will be available at AXIS Bank Branches from 28th April 2015 onwards.

=> You can use the Prospectus Search facility to know the status of the prospectus dispatch in case you have sent us a demand draft for purchase of prospectus or completed the process online requesting for hard copy.

Fee Details:

Registration Fees (Non-refundable):
For Indian Residents (General or Civil / Defence Personnel / Paramilitary / Police / Symbiosis employee): Rs. 1000/-
International Students: USD 100 OR Rs. 6500/-
SAARC Students: USD 75 OR Rs. 4875/-

Program Fees:
Students have two options of paying the fees, as mentioned below:
A] Option 1 – One Time Payment:- Student has to pay the full course fees in one time payment, on or before November 15, 2015.

=> General: Rs. 7000/-
=> Active Defence / Paramilitary / Police: Rs. 6,500/-
=> SAARC Students: USD 175 or Rs.11,375/-
=> International Students: US $ 200 or Rs. 13,000/-
