NIEPMD Chennai announces BEd Special Education Admission 2015

National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD), Chennai invites applications for admissions to B.Ed Special Education for the academic year 2015 - 16.

B.Ed Special Education is conducted by National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD), Chennai.

B.Ed Spl Edn (MD) course is recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi & affiliated with Tamil Nadu Teacher Education University, Chennai.

Courses Offered:

B.Ed - Special Education (MD)

Duration: 2 years

Intake: 20

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> A Bachelor Degree from an UGC approved University in any of the Secondary School subjects in the pattern of 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 with minimum marks of (OC - 50%, BC - 45%, MBC/DNC - 43%, SC/ST - 40%); (or)
PG Degree in Economics, Commerce, Home Science, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Logic and Indian Culture from an UGC approved University with minimum marks of 50%

=> However, the candidates not qualified in XII Exam or PUC but possessing 2 years Bachelor Preparatory Program Certificate / 2 years Foundation Course Certificate/2 years Diploma Course conducted by State Government/recognized Universities and qualified with three year UG Degree course are also considered to be eligible for admission

Application Fee: Rs.500/- and Rs.300/- for SC/ST/PH
