SSN School of Management & Computer Applications invites application for Master of Business Administration (MBA)for the year 2014 - 15.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) is conducted by SSN School of Management & Computer Applications.

MBA Eligibility:

Interested candidates should fulfil following eligibility criteria:
1)Any graduation of three years duration or more that is recognized by Anna University, Chennai

2) Candidates seeking MBA admissions under the Management Quota must have written one of the entrance tests - CAT 2014, XAT 2015, MAT (2014-15) or TANCET 2015 The selection process is based on the scores in the entrance test as well as past academic record

3) Consistent marks of above 60% in X, XII and UG, and preferably no history of arrears

4) Work experience will be given weightage

MBA Application Procedure:

=> The program is a compulsorily residential with the same fee structure for Management Quota and Government quota

=> Admissions for management quota seats are made purely on MERIT on ALL INDIA BASIS. Applicants seeking admission to MBA program of SSN School of Management (SSN SoM) should have taken any one of the following all India admission Tests- CAT 2014 / XAT 2015 / MAT (2014 – 15), CMAT (2014-15) or TANCET 2015.

=> The final rank list would take into account past academic record, entrance test scores, work experience, writing skills and performance at GD & Interview to be held by us. Please note that SSN uses these entrance test scores as one of the bases for admissions. The institutions conducting
the tests have no role in the admissions of SSN SoM.

=> Candidates with less than 65% (or equivalent) in either X, XII or UG need not apply. For candidates completing their UG in 2015, cumulative performance till the most recent semester will be considered for provisional admission. The final admission will be subject to their getting an aggregate of atleast 65% in the overall UG program.

=> Send filled-in form, with DD for Rs. 950/- in favor of “SSN School of Management” payable at Chennai, to: The Administrative Officer, SSN Educational & Charitable Trust, 211/95, V M Street, Mylapore, Chennai 600 004. Tamil Nadu. The envelope should be superscripted with “APPLICATION FOR MBA 2015-17”

=> Candidates should compulsorily attach a copy of their scorecard of admission test along with SSN application form. If the candidate has not yet received the score sheet of the entrance exam but has already written the exam or planning to write, a copy of the hall ticket must be enclosed with the application. It is also the candidate’s responsibility to send a copy of score sheet (as soon as the results are declared) by email to the admissions office at [email protected].

=> Call for interviews will be based on past academic track record and performance in the entrance test. Past academic track record will also include history of arrears in the UG program. Candidates with history of arrears (more than one) need not apply.

=> Last date for receipt of completed applications form will be announced shortly and will be different for each entrance test. This will be indicated in our website. Candidates are advised to apply at the earliest to be considered for GD / PI in early rounds.

List of documents to be submitted at the time of interview / discussion before departmental research committee:

1. DD for Rs. 950/- drawn in favor of SSN School of Management payable at Chennai
2. Copy of entrance test hall ticket and copy of score sheet, if available
3. Copies of educational certificates and mark sheets (X, XII and semester-wise UG). In case of candidates graduating in 2015, UG mark sheets upto the most recent semester need to be sent.
Web copies of results are also accepted for mark sheets. No original certificates are required to be sent along with the application.
