Diploma, MPhil and Phd Courses Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
Group - A

PhD in Clinical Psychology: 4 seats

Duration: 3 years for MA/M.Sc (Psychology) degree holders and 2 years after M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology/ Clinical Psychology

Qualification: First Class Master’s degree in Psychology regular course (OR) M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology/ Clinical Psychology of any recognized University, for 3 years and 2 years course respectively

M.Phil in Clinical Psychology: 12 seats (UR-6, OBC-3, SC-2, ST-1)

Duration: 2 years

Qualification: MA/M.Sc in Psychology regular course of a recognized University with minimum 55% marks for UR and 50% marks for SC/ST and OBC in the aggregate

Group - B
M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work: 12 seats (UR-6, OBC-3, SC-2, ST-1) (01-PH)

Duration: 2 years

Qualification: MA in Sociology or Master in Social Work regular course of a recognized University with minimum 55% marks for UR and 50% marks for SC/ST and OBC in the aggregate

Group - C
Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing: 18 seats (UR-9, OBC-4, SC-3, ST-2) (01-PH)

Duration: One year Qualification: ‘A’ Grade Certificate or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery

Experience: Two years experience as Staff Nurse

Application Procedure for Diploma, MPhil and Phd Courses:

=> From the pool of applicants, suitable candidates would be asked to appear for a written examination and interview/practical at the institute, which shall be between 15th - 21st February 2015

=> PG Entrance Exam 2015 will be conducted on 15th February 2015 (Sunday) at CIP Ranchi, for admission to PhD in Clinical Psychology, M.Phil in Clinical Psychology and M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work
