Applications in prescribed form are invited by Dibrugarh University from eligible candidates in the following subjects for admission to the Six-Month Pre-Registration Course Work of the PhD / MPhil Programmes:

PhD:
Economics, History, Sociology, Commerce, Management, Statistics, Mathematics, anthropology, Applied Geology, Chemistry, Life-Sciences, Physics, Petroleum Technology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics

MPhil:
Assamese, Chemistry, Commerce, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics

Eligibility:
Post-graduates with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and qualified in DURAT or NET- JRF.

Application Forms:
Application Forms can be obtained from the Office of the Deputy Registrar (Academic), Dibrugarh University on payment of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred) only at the University Cash Counter or may be downloaded from the website link:
http://www.dibru.ac.in/files/tenders_notices/Notice102.pdf

Downloaded Application forms shall have to be accompanied by a bank draft of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of 'The Registrar, Dibrugarh University' in State Bank of India, Dibrugarh University Branch (Code No. 2051). Duly filled-in application forms shall be received by the Head of the Department or Director of the Centre for Studies concerned till 23.01.2012.
