Seemant Institute of Technology, Pithoragarh is one of the constituent institutes of Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, established in 2011 by the Govt. of Uttarakhand to promote the technical education in seemant areas of the state. The institute provides undergraduate education in five disciplines i.e. Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering with the intake of 60 in each branch; fostering the spirit of state integration among the students. The vision of the institute is to produce a world class Technocrats and entrepreneurs for the benefit and upliftment of the society.
