Government Medical College, Haldwani came into existence in the year 1997 and the first batch of 100 MBBS student was admitted in the year 2004-05. With the vicissitudes of time the college progressed steadily and completed its first phase of development when first batch of MBBS students passed the University Examination in March 2009.
