Sociology is an inter-disciplinary approach which focuses on recognizing and analyzing social determinants that shape our lives and offers a unique potential not only for understanding society, but also for social action and social change. It proposes to impart quality education and focuses on providing the young potential minds with an atmosphere for rigorous academic and intellectual development taking into account recent advancements in theory, methodology and contemporary social phenomena.
