Department of Applied Biology
Applied biology is a broad area where biological knowledge is put into applications, mainly through uses of modern advancements in science & technology. Likewise, biotechnology is the use of living systems and organisms to develop or make useful products, or "any technological application that uses biological systems, living organisms or derivatives thereof, to make or modify products or processes for specific use". We aim at enriching knowledge on the natural resources of the region which are yet to be exploited.
