Department of Life Sciences
The department mainly deals with living beings, i.e. flora and fauna. The department is established to empower research and higher education in the field of Botanical and Zoological sciences in the North-eastern Zone of India. The department aims for more concepts based and applied learning in the subject to enable the students as well as to motivate them to get absorbed in any suitable and relevant fields for their careers.
