He belongs to the native of Seikalathur Village near Manamadurai in Sivagangai District. His visionary and his excellence erected technical institution like Engineering College, Polytechnic Colleges and other institution to the upliftment of the poor and rural students. It has been supported by Sujatha Education Trust, Chennai. The location of our esteemed institution Thangam-Muthu Polytechnic College is near by Periyakulam and situated in Velnagar, 7 Kms. from Periyakulam and 19km away from Batlagundu on the NH – 45 Extension.

A well maintained library is in our institution. A good collection of books, study materials and yearly collection of question papers of Board Examinations are all made available to the demanding students. Apart from the above, dailies, periodicals, journals and magazines are regularly subscribed and are neatly kept in chronological order.
