Founded in 1969, S.D.College for Women, Moga is a prestigious Post Graduate institution of the area. It was a cherished dream of SanatanDharam Society to open the gates of education for girls. It is committed to the cause of women empowerment through access to higher education enabling them to develop as intellectually alive and socially responsible citizens.

The college is governed by SanatanDharam Governing Body, Moga Regd. Started with a humble beginning, the college has made tremendous growth with the selfless and zealous endeavours of its founder members like BabuChanduLal, Sh. Lal Chand Uppal, Sh. Dhanna Mal, Ch. Pat Ram Dass, Sh.MurliDhar, Lala Shiv DuttRai, Sh. Raja Ram, Master Rikhi Ram, Sh. JaganNath Advocate, Sh. Lekh Raj Mittal, Sh. Sadhu Ram Singal, Sh.RamParshad Mittal, Sh.Hari Chand Jindal and Sh.OmParkash Jindal. Brick by brick the early Principals, teachers and non-teaching staff of the college put in superhuman efforts to take the college to new heights of glory .Our college is making an immense progress under the able stewardship of Madam Principal and dynamic leadership of the College Managing Committee.

Situated in the heart of the city, the college is housed in a magnificent building. The rooms are very well ventilated& air-conditioned and the furniture is especially designed to make class rooms sessions comfortable. The college has well stocked A.C. library 22,000 books approx, well equipped Home Science lab, Fine Arts & Interior Decoration labs, Fashion Designing labs, English Language lab, Music room, Common room, Spacious Canteen & imposing halls. The Multi-purpose Hall, five classrooms, indoor stadium and gymnasium have been added to the college building. The college has an excellent infrastructure of Information Technology. 1o6 networked computers, with printers and internet facility have been installed in the Computer labs, Library & Office. Ultra-Modern Computer Labs are the pride of the college. The whole college is connected with stand by most modern generators. A new feather has been added to the infrastructure. Solar project has been completed. It is a step towards eco-friendly environment.
