It started in the Science Block of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College Sector 26, Chandigarh and was transplanted to its new campus in 1987 where it continues to thrive and bloom today. Over a span of over 30 years the college has grown from a fledgling to a center of technical learning today. A new course of study viz. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology was introduced in the year 1997., The rapidly expanding academic programme of the college necessitated the management to renovate the college building and provide additional infrastructure facilities at a cost of 38 lacs. The new block of college was inaugurated by His Excellency, Justice O.P. Verma, the Governor of Punjab on 24th September, 2003., Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy is an institute committed to promote academic excellence in Technical Education and Healthcare. We endeavor to provide quality service to our students with the highest educational standards., We have a farsighted management, highly qualified and very experienced faculty, a huge infrastructure and established systems working with perfect positive synchronized inertia for the betterment of students and society at large. We strive to present to the World not only technically qualified individuals but perfectly groomed citizens ready to face challenges of life while contributing positively to mankind., The College has journeyed through three decades and a half when many a steps were taken and many a milestones were achieved but we remain aimed for higher and still higher., OUR MISSION, We at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy try to follow the teachings of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the Tenth Guru of Sikhs, our mentor and work with the mission, 'SHUBH KARMAN TE KABHUN NA TARON' meaning O God, give me the strength that I may not deter from righteous deeds.
