Baba Farid College as one of the pioneer institutes of Malwa region has emerged as a leading institution of North India. The college is well known for its outstanding achievements such as 100% and meritorious results in various examinations conducted by Punjabi University patiala. Our students have offten topped in the merit lists of punjabi university examinations. Special emphasis is laid in the academic curriculum on research and innovation. We aim at an all round deveopment and a class grooming of our students to enable them to face the challenges of modern globalized markets.

The college is managed by Baba Farid Vidayak Society which was founded in 1993 under the visionary patronage of prominent educationists. The society aims at developing Baba Farid College as one of the model educational institutes of india. The aim is to maintain international standards of infrastructue and equipment to facilitate true learning. The society has already developed the college as per international standards of education. The society is making available a class education facilities to students at affordable fee.

Spread over a sprwaling 50 acres of land,situated 4 kms away from municipal limits of Bathinda city on Bathinda-Muktsar road,the college has developed a beautiful campus with a charming landscape in sylvan surroundings. The state of the art campus is highly equipped and is continuously upgraded to meet the futuristic needs and challenges . The college is continuously developing in a planned and systematic manner.

The college has been built from a scratch with steadfast and missionary zeal, societal commentment, imaginative vision, sprit of sacrifice and service to the cause of education by its Chairman Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal (Bharat Jyoti Awardee) who has devoted himself to the cause of education. The management is honoured to have prominent and committed outstanding educationists on its Board of Directors. Some of them are noted NRIS from The U.K, The U.S.A, and Canada. Guided by such prominent educationists from across the world, the college is making continuous progress day by day and sky is not the limit for us.
