Established in 1981 as the first MBA Institute with a holistic approach and as a pioneer Management Institute of Orissa. The founder of the institution, late Sri Brundaban Nayak, was a man of the masses, who devoted all his mind and heart to the cause of their education. A two-year full time course leading to Master of Business Administration (MBA) recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Govt. of Orissa and affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Orissa. The Institute has modern amenities and facilities keeping in tune with changing scenarios. The Institute has best tradition of churning out well-rounded students good not only at academics but also in extra curricular activities. The present Institutional building is satisfying all the major and minor requirements of professional studies. The campus provides state-of- art infrastructure facilities and academic resources to its aspirants willing to better their performance and to make a dent for themselves and the college in every walk of life. Architecturally designed multifaceted institutional campus of its own with central Library, Internet zone, Workshop, Seminar Arcade. The PGCMS is situated in a lush green sylvan environment on the National Highway of Ankushpur, just 5 K.M.s away from the busy city of Berhampur. The Sanjay Memorial Institute of Technology was set up in the year 1980. It has since grown into an educational complex comprising of the Diploma Engg. M.B.A., Library & Information Sc., I.T.C. and Degree Engineering. This group is the first ever educational Institution imparting technical education in the state of Orissa in the private sector. Late Sri Brundaban Nayak’s primary objective was local development in the modern context. To our greatest misfortune, Sri Brundaban Nayak passed away in 1984 when he had many more vision yet to come true. We are striving to make his dream a reality.
