Buddha Bhanu Saraswati College established on the 23rd August 1993 is a self-financed co-educational institution managed by the Gurkha Community of Shillong; a linguistic minority community of the state of Meghalaya. The College is registered under the Society Registration Act 7 of 1993, under Registration No- SR/BBSC-419/93 of 1993 and affiliated to Meghalaya Board of School Education for Higher Secondary Arts and Commerce and North Eastern Hill University for the Under Graduate Courses in Arts and Commerce.

Vision the College
Vision of the college is to provide sound education for the overall development of the students who are the future of the Society, State and the Nation.

Mission of the College
The mission of the college is to try and reach out to the students, especially average students hailing from the low financial income group both from the Urban and Rural areas of the State.

As the College was established to cater to the requirement of those students who failed to get admission in the various existing college in the year 1993. The College is ever since putting all its efforts to provide guidance and support to the students enrolled in the college to build up a better career for themselves so that they can in turn assist the growth and development of a healthy Society, State and the Nation.
