About Mawlai Presbyterian College, Shillong

Mawlai Presbyterian College was Established in the year 2000. It is a major educa national project of Mawlai Presbyterian Church, a unit of Presbyterian Church of India. It has been affiliated to the North Eastern Hill University. By the amazing grace of God Almighty, the College has been able to establish its independent and separate identity by the acquisition of a new institutional complex at Mawlai Nongkwar.

On Vision
The College, being a co-educational centre of learning, shall see to it that the relevance and dignity of gender is not, in any matter, disturbed since God is His never failing Dispensation, had bestowed upon male and female the status of equality. It will be our Vision to provide to the economically handicapped students the opportunity of making a living while learning. The College has drawn up an ambitious framework to start major classes in a phased manner. This is being attempted to enhance its academic credibility.

We are committed to maintain the minority character of the institution and preserve its Christian identity.
