Master of Technology in Quality Management (M.Tech.Quality Management), is a two years postgraduate management technology degree course in India. Quality Management is a technical process of coordinating and controlling the activities required to make a product. It's a typically involving effective control of scheduling cost, performance, quality and waste requirement.
The aims of the study program are to set proper quality standards at the earliest stage, to secure quality in subsequent stages of the industrial process, in order to enhance customer satisfaction. The course provides training and expertise in the key areas of quality engineering management, product development for quality, simulation, and operations management and advanced manufacturing systems.
The course is suitable for those candidates wants to increase their knowledge for accelerating their career by exploring and acquire a critical understanding of Quality Management.The course is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and information about the Technology and Quality Management, The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects and Principles Techniques in an academic discipline such as Production Management, Advanced Engineering Mathematics, Production Planning & Control, Theory of Machining, Production Planning & Material Management, Operational Research, Automation in Manufacturing System & Process, Quality Assessment & Control, Computer Aided Design & Manufacturing.
The candidate has to complete Bachelor's Degree like Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or any other Bachelor’s Degree with relevant subjects, or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 60% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master of Technology in Quality Management Studies program.
In India, it is mandatory to give entrance exams like Common Admission Test (CAT), some institute take the personal interview and asked few questions on General Knowledge, Personality, Intelligence Assessment and English Language.
After the successful completion of the Master’s study program, one can have excellent career opportunities in the Public and Private Sectors.
