Located in Jagadambha Bahuuddeshiya Gramin Vikas Sanstha was formed in the year 2003 by the visionary Dr. Shittal A. Watile renouned educationalist with the lofty aim of providing quality professional education and meeting the rising expectations of the industry as well as the young students in region & around. Jagadambha College of Engineering & Technology, Yavatmal , was established by JBGVS on an expanse of 11 acres on Nagpur Tuljapur Highway just 5 Km. from Yavatmal bus stand. The Institute is located at quite calm and peaceful area an ideal site for teaching learning, with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education and Govt. of Maharashtra. The college started functioning from the academic year 2009-10, initially with four branches with a total intake of 240 students. The college is affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati, University. The present intake of the College is 360 students with five core branches of Engineering at B.E. Level. The Institute has started four M.E. Courses from 2013-14 like Mechanical CAD-CAM, Computer Science & Engineering, Structural Engineering & Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering with total intake 72, which makes the highest intake among all Engineering Colleges in Yavatmal City in a short span of time.
