Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science and Commerce - Library is one of the important central facilities of the Pillai HOCL Educational Campus catering to the information needs of faculty, research scholars and students in Arts, Science and Commerce. The main objective is to make Library the most effective Learning Resource centre to contribute to the quality of higher education. The library is also created learning environment by establishing Online Public Access Catalogue Searching Area, Internet browsing area for accessing e-resources, Laptop zone with Wi-Fi facility and specialized workstations like discussion rooms for users.

Objectives;
Library houses an enviable collection of resources in the field of, Arts, Science and Commerce, Humanities and allied subjects. The library works with a mandate to serve the information requirements of students and faculties of the institutions.
The library serves as a nucleus of information in every branch of knowledge.
Rules and Regulations;
Every user should wear college identity card in library.
Students should carry own borrowers card in library.
Books borrowed should be protected from Dust, Rain and Insects etc.
Readers should not deface, mark, cut, mutilate or damage library resources in any way. If any one is found doing so, he will be charged the full replacement cost of the resource
Books removed from the shelves by students, if not required for reference, should be kept on the table nearest to them. Please do not try to shelve them yourself.

Reference Service;
Library has a Reference Section with a 300 seating capacity. The collection includes Reference books, Textbooks, Books for competitive examinations, Project reports and CD-ROMs. A team of professionals is available in library to assist and guide the user.
Photocopy service;
Photocopies of articles from journals and chapters from textbooks are provided on request at Rs. 1.00 per copy. This facility is not extended to the outside visitors.
User Orientation;
Library organizes orientation programmes to its members regularly. It also arranges special talks on new concepts and newly introduced services. Apart from the regular ones users interested may request the library to arrange for special orientation programmes.
