A) Admission to BE First Year
Candidate should be an Indian and should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharshtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or is equivalent examination with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 50% marks i.e 150 marks out of 300 marks (minimum 45% marks i.e 135 marks out of 300 marks in case of candidates of backward class category belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and mathematics added together.
Revised Eligibility Criteria (1st Year B. E) :
Minimum 45% marks i.e 135 marks out of 300 marks (minimum 40% marks i.e 120 marks out of 300 marks in case of candidates of backward class category belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and mathematics added together.

AND

Obtained non zero score in Physics, chemistry and Mathematics at SEEE for the current year.

OR

Candidate should have a valid AIEEE Score (i.e total score should be positive) for the current year.

B) Admission to Direct Second Year BE:

The candidate should have passed in first class/ first class with condonation, post SSC or post HSC diploma course in Engineering / technology of the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) or any other recognized diploma equivalent to the diploma awarded by Maharshtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) with English as the medium of instruction at diploma level. Such candidates shall produce Equivalence certificate from MSBTE, 4” floor, Govt. Polytechnic Building 49, Kherwade, Ali Yavar Jung Marg, Bandra (E), Mumbai 400051, Maharashtra State and Eligibility certificate from Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University , Nagpur.
