The School of Broadcasting & Communication SBC is a part of the ‘Society for Arts & Mass Communication’, a non-profit, non-governmental organization NGO registered under ‘Registrar of Firms and Societies Act, 1973’, of the government of the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is located in Mumbai. The school is affiliated to Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Asia.

The institution was incorporated with a vision of bringing world class, state-of-the-art broadcasting and media education and technology to the Indian sub-continent. More broadly, the mission is to establish itself as a premier educational institute, which is focused on imparting relevant courses specific to the various media verticals and creating professionals who are comparable to the best talent present anywhere in the world.

SBC seeks to provide the Indian media broadcast and journalism industry with trained and skilled personnel who are equipped with the latest technology and skill-sets and are empowered to meet the dynamic challenges in the global landscape.

School of Broadcasting & Communication is situated in Mumbai in Maharashtra state of India. it is accredited from AICTE and it is affiliated to Makhanlal Chaturvedi Rashtriya Patrakarita Vishwavidyalaya. SBC, Mumbai offers 10 courses across 3 streams namely Media and Mass Communication, Arts, Vocational and across 4 degrees like BA, MA, MJMC, Certificate.Hostel facility is not available for its students. Additional campus facilities such as A/C, Auditorium, Canteen, Computer Lab, Counselling, Mess, Library, Medical Facilities, Sports, Trans. are also there.
