The IATA / UFTAA International Cargo Agents Training Program was launched in 1977 to meet the growing demand for trained staff in cargo agencies. The IATA / FIATA International Cargo Agents diploma has gained worldwide industry recognition as a quality qualification, important for anyone who wishes to make a career in the air cargo forwarding business.

TIM has a tie-up with ATC-Communication, Netherlands which is a specialist in ICAO Radio Telephony training (RT) and therefore a JAR registered training facility for RT lessons and exams. RT (practical training) and Communications (Theoretical part) are part of the JAA Syllabus for pilots. ATC Comm also provides Radiotelephony courses to ground staff communicating with Air Traffic Control. ATC-Comm provides courses with professional instructors with an Air Traffic Control background. A flight dispatcher is the unseen, unsung hero behind the scenes. Passengers do not even realize that a flight dispatcher exists. But he is the most important person who sees that the flight takes off & lands safely. An aircraft dispatcher shares equal & joint responsibility with the pilot in command for the safety & operational control the flight. He authorizes, regulates, controls and terminates aircraft flights in of accordance with company & governmental regulations & policies to ensure safety. ADVANCE DIPLOMA IN AVIATION & TOURISM MANAGEMENT
In addition to syllabus of Advanced Diploma in Aviation Management, 2 modules have been added in this course, viz. Tourism & Travel Accountancy. Tourism is an integrated part of the travel industry and one of the most upcoming sectors. Travel Accountancy will enhance the accounting skills of the students. It is also beneficial to those students in the accountancy line to gain knowledge about travel agency accounting & reporting.
Syllabus
The additional modules will have the subjects as under.
• Tourism Management module covers Tourism Organizations, different types of tourism, Tourism infrastructure & management, Economic & social Importance of tourism, Eco tourism, history, culture & heritage of India, India as a destination, Tourism circuits in India, Travel formalities within India, International tourist attractions, Latest trends & career opportunities in the tourism industry.
• Travel Accountancy module covers Introduction to Travel accounting, Preparation of credit notes, invoices and other vouchers, Maintenance of various books of accounts, Preparation of airline reports, Accounting & reconciliation, Preparation of MIS, P&L and balance sheet, accounting standards as per ICAI & Revenue accounting.

Diploma in Reservation & Ticketing
Travel is a business and so demands certain technical skills and product knowledge. TIM has devised a detailed curriculum for this course which includes International Airline & Travel Management, Computerized Reservation System (CRS) Galileo. This will give the student a dual advantage of gaining knowledge useful either in a travel agency or as ground staff at the airport. The CRS system is used widely in all travel agencies / airlines and will give the student an added qualification during placements. Though there are varied occupations, there is one common denominator service. To be able to give the best service, students must have confidence and product knowledge. To inculcate confidence and interpersonal skills in the students, we have developed a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) module which is given absolutely free. This module trains students on how to deal with different types of customers and enhance their communication and interpersonal skills.

• Computerized Reservation System (CRS) Galileo module covers how to check time-table and availability of flights, creating a PNR, special requests, seat requests, display of fares, hotel reservations & car rental bookings.
• CRM (Customer Relationship Management) module covers how to deal with different types of customers, effective communication skills, how to present a resume, interview techniques, sales techniques & marketing principles.
