The Nagrik Shikshan Sanstha was founded in 1963, by Late Shri. Yashwantrao Chavan, the Ex-Deputy Prime Minister of India, and Hon'ble Shri. Sharadchandraji Pawar, the Union Agriculture Minister and Late Shri. Rajabhau Mirashi was the Chairman of the Institution and Dr. Jaydeep Mirashi, is present Chairman & Mr. C.N.Kashalkar ,is the General Secretary of the Institute, carrying institution with the sole motto of imparting Primary and Secondary education for the poorer, economically backward and socially marginalized sections of the community.The N.S.S. College of Commerce and Economics was started by the Institution in the year 1988.
