The GNIMS came into existence in 2002. Along with the full time management courses in different disciplines, it also provides part-time programs which appeal to working executives.In fact, the 3 year course takes care of all the subjects, and the executives have the added advantage of already having basic industry knowledge.

What makes education at GNIMS stand out is the mentorship system where students benefit from one-on-one interaction with their teachers and get the right guidance and direction to aid their progress. The fact that the institute cares for its students is seen from the fact that they have several activities to assist their students who come from a vernacular background to improve their grasp on the English language. There is focus on project-based learning as a vital tool for management education.

GNIMS gives its students the option of international internships. For 6 – 8 weeks they gain real life exposure and experience in an international milieu. The GNIMS has 17 tie ups with universities around the globe, including the Aarhus in Denmark which is the best in the world for telecommunication sector and Teesside University in the UK. Such international exposure is greatly appreciated by industry stalwarts at the time of recruitment.
