Rukmani Devi Institute is a creation of Kanha Sikshan Sanstha, a leading education society fundamentally engaged in training, education and info services. The sanstha is engaged in promoting education in the context of Indian society for last 10 years. It has its own campus spread over 5 acres of land.

The RDIST focuses primarily on providing a global, academic, research and cultural environment. Rukmani Devi Institute of Science & Technology is an institution established in the year 2007 under the auspices of Kanha Shikshan Sanstha by the founder trustee Late Mr. Om Patidar. The Sanstha is also running a premier school "OM Valley" in the heart of Bhopal city.

Rukmani Devi Institute of Science & Technology is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Technical University & B.U. and recognized by Government of MP under the approval from All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi. It has very good infrastructure having spacious lecturer halls, well equipped laboratory with all modern facilities. The facilities are highly qualified & experienced all departments. The institution provides very good academic ambience with effective teaching, learning process using modern facilities. The concept of e-campus is initiated for paperless & hassle free administration. Each student & parents can access the information through Internet. The institution has student strength of over 500 of different states and diverse back grounds in India.
