Axis College of Engineering & Technology (AxisCET), is a private self-financing engineering college established and run by Global Knowledge Foundation, a Trust registered under Indian Trust Act in 2009. The college offers B Tech courses in five branches of engineering – Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication and Computer Science & Engineering. AxisCET was started in the academic year 2010-11 for promoting excellence in professional education. The governance of the college is based on equity and objectivity in the application of rules and procedures that are developed and applied without favour or discrimination.

Ultimately an educational township amidst the quite village atmosphere of Vellikulangara and Mukundapuram panchayath in Thrisur District will be established.

Axis CET is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technological University and University of Calicut.

Axis CET strictly follows the guidelines and orders of Kerala Government and that of both the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and Calicut University in matters of student admission and fee structure. The college has implemented the AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme for promoting technical education for women, handicapped and weaker sections of the society.
