Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering (SNGCE) is ranked among with the top self-financing technological institutes in the state. It continues to grow from strength to strength promoted by S.N.D.P Yogam, Kunnathunadu Union, headquartered at Perumbavoor. College was established in the year 2002. Inspired by the principles of Sree Narayana Guru - "Organize and strengthen, Educate and Enlighten", the institution is striving hard to achieve excellence by imparting professional education and cutting-edge enterprise-wide knowledge to the youth, thereby enabling them to combat the onslaught that industry poses.

The sincere efforts of all stakeholders in creating state of the art infrastructure, dedicated faculties, disciplined campus, opportunity for co-curricular activities, systematically developed procedures and processes with emphasis on personal development of each student has earned a quick reputation for the institution. This, in turn, made it possible to get the coveted ISO 9001:2008 certification in the year 2009. SNGCE has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and by International Accreditation Organisation (IAO).

The college has gradually and steadily grown to the current position with 6 Engineering Departments in addition to the Departments of Management Studies and Computer Applications. The departments are greatly benefited by the expertise of more than 20 Ph.D. holders and also have visiting faculties from the renowned institution in India and abroad. Each department conducts annually at least one National /International Conference/ Seminar / Workshops for effective dissemination of state-of-art technologies and research findings for the benefit of teaching faculty and industries.

The college is extremely proud of its Alumni, a considerable number of them being entrepreneurs or senior executive in industries both within India and abroad. Some are also in the field of Research and academic. Several advanced centers are set up in the campus including the FAB Lab (fabrication laboratory), industrial capacity CNC, Digital Depository System etc., many of them with the financial support from State Government/ University.

The college maintains a close interaction with several R & D Institutions and Universities like KUFOS through institutional network programmes and collaborative research programmes. The college has signed MoU with research organizations and Universities in India and abroad in order to promote closer interaction with other institutions in the area of technology development, training students, curriculum updating, and development of state-of-art centres.
