The H.M.S Institute of Technology holds a noble objective of promoting the innovative and creative brains in the field of Technology with strong moral and ethical values. The H.M.S. Institute of Technology run by H.M.S EDUCATION SOCIETY (Regd.) is located in TUMKUR, just 60Kms away from Bangalore, the Silicon city of India, adjoining Mumbai - Bangalore National Highway - 4, well Connected by Road and Railway. The City enjoys a Pleasant atmosphere throughout the year and surrounded by Coco-nuts and Areca-nut trees.
The Institute was established by the H. M. S Education Society (Regd.) during 1997- 98 with the objective of providing Technical Education. Permission is accorded by the State Government and it is affiliated to Visweswaraya Technological University, Belgaum, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Courses Accredited by NBA. The Institute is located in Tumkur - 60 K.M from Bangalore towards Mumbai, where all kinds of Institutions like, MBBS, BDS, Engineering, BPT, DPT, Open Universities, MCA and MBA are situated. The Campus is well laid out on a stretch of over 30 Acres of land with beautiful landscaping. All the Buildings are architecturally designed to suit the natural rolling terrain. Natural surroundings and meticulously maintained pollution free green campus leaves ever lasting memory in the minds of student.
HMS Institute of Technology College (HMSIT) is a UG/PG Institution run by HMS Education Society, a non-profit Organization engaged in the promotion of Technical Education amongst the students and the dissemination of scientific knowledge in the Society.
HMSIT has set from the very beginning, as its goal, quality technical education, which endeavors to achieve high levels of academic excellence. It is planned in such a way that a student can get all facilities and help to reach his destination. The laboratories have been setup not only according to the university syllabus, but also with the state-of-the-art equipment. The HMSIT can boast of teachers of quality. The discipline is the backbone of any system and the college is duty bound to produce hardcore professionals and an effective system can only give the desired result.
