Alliance University College of Engineering and Design (CED) offers degree courses aimed at building skills, expertise and knowledge among its graduates in the areas of higher technology and design. In its pursuit to nurture world-class professionals in engineering, technology and science, CED currently offers seven, four-year, full- time Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) degree courses at the undergraduate level. The undergraduate courses at CED are unique offerings where graduates receive a Bachelor of Technology degree in their chosen stream of engineering alongside a minor in business administration. The College also offers two, one-year, full-time diploma courses at the postgraduate level in the areas of software development and computer aided engineering.

These carefully crafted B. Tech. courses are differentiated in their offerings of design electives, which provide graduates an edge in placements. In addition to studying compulsory core subjects, graduates can also select from a wide range of design electives in their respective disciplines, which include simulation and modeling, optimization in engineering design, microwave integrated circuit design, radio frequency circuit design, pavement analysis and design with PIC microcontrollers.

  • Policy regarding refund of course fees:
    • The course fee has two components - Registration Fee and Tuition Fee.
    • The Registration Fee, once paid, will not be refunded by the Alliance University, College of Engineering and Design under any circumstances. The objective of this clause is to discourage frivolous applications.
    • The refund of Tuition Fee paid will be considered under the following conditions:
    • If a candidate withdraws from the course prior to its commencement, then 75 percent of the tuition fees will be refunded.
    • If a candidate withdraws from the course within one week after its commencement, then 60 percent of the tuition fees will be refunded.
    • If a candidate withdraws from the course anytime after one week from the date of its commencement, then no refund of tuition fees will be made.
  • Students will also be liable for any travel and accommodation costs incurred for placement. For certain courses, students may incur additional specific charges for such items or activities as sports and games fees, specialized material, or field trips. The Alliance University College of Engineering and Design reserves the right to make additional charges to students for such activities.
  • The Alliance University College of Engineering and Design may withdraw or amend its offer of admission, or terminate the registration, if it is found that either a false or a misleading statement has been made or that significant information has either been omitted or withheld in a candidate's application form.
