About Department of Home Science

Background, academic mission, and departmental profile

Home Science as a field of Education is fully women oriented, preparing women for playing multifarious roles such as a professional career woman, an enlightened homemaker and awakened community worker. The Western Rajasthan in spite of rich culture and tradition is way behind in women’s literary and there is a lack of scientific temperament.
