The Himalayan college of education is situated on the out set of Sunder Nagar town. It's location about 50 meters away from NH-21 at pungh.

The college Campus is surrounded with lush green meadows and having scenic beauty of hills.

The college is well versed in all respect, beside well furnished and comfortable class rooms, well equipped labs, library having thousands of knowledgeable books, indoor and outdoor sports, facilities with competent teachers to provided quality education.

In the contemporary social order of our country it is desirable for the teachers to update themselves according to the technological advancement, national value and need of chills society and the subject. To achieve this goal it is necessary to bring about changes in the education and training to teachers in the first place.

Keeping in the mind all these things the Himachal Education Society has established a college, for prospective teachers, named as Himalayan College of Education.
