Taking congnizance of persistent demand of the people of the rural areas around Palampur Kangra District and adjoining districts of Himachal Pradesh to start an institution of higher education to provide job oriented courses to the youth of the area in general and young girls in particular, who cannot afford such education at far away places from their homes, the National Career Public Education Committee, a registered Society was established in the Year of 2001 under the able guidance of the then President Sh. B.C. Sood, a social worker and a philanthropist by deeds., Netaji Subhash College Of Nursing is a unique nursing institute, established in the year 2009 with intake capacity of 40 students in each programme of B.Sc.N and GNM and is affiliated to H.P. University, H.P Government and HPNRC Shimla and recognized by INC New Delhi. The College situated just near National Highway and opposite to Villa Camelia, Palampur. The college is situated in the vicinity of Palampur city having a commanding sight with lush green fields and forests in all sides and at the foothill of snow clad Dhauladhar in front sight of the building. The College has excellent infrastructure with hard working and versatile and dedicated faculty. The college had gained its academic excellence and overall development of the students ., Nursing is essentially a profession of dedication, love for humanity, faith and courage. To be successful in this profession, one should have certain qualities, viz sound physical health, courage, honest, emotional maturity and above all compassion to serve. However, these qualities and many more can be developed and nurtured during training. It depends on the individual to benefit from the opportunities to develop talent, personality and character for becoming an efficient nurse and a useful member of the society., With the present admission 2014-15 the institution will enter its 6th year and the 3rd batch of GNM course will pass out their programme during February'2015 whereas the 2nd batch of B.Sc. N programme will passout during Sept'2014.
