They provide Bachelor degree courses and diploma courses .Deen Dayal Upadhayay College of Education, Mehre is pioneer one & it provides good faculties and also provides good infrastructural facilities too.Deen Dayal Upadhayay College of Education, Mehre have advanced library facility .They also have better computer labs.

Deen Dayal Upadhyay B.Ed. College is founded by Deen Dayal Upadhyay Samark Samiti with the well-defined motive of serving the people of Himachal Pradesh in the field of Teacher Education. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Samark Samiti was established and registred vide rregistration no 3/1997.The College established in 2000. NCTE recognized DDU B.Ed. College vide letter no in 2004 and get affiliated to HPU Shimla vide letter no in 2007 with 100 seats .Thus The college started functioning from the session 2007 for an intake of 100 B.Ed Trainees. It is well
established co-educational institution situated in a calm and beautiful surrounding at Mehre of Barsar Tehsile on Bhota-Una Superhighway road . There is enough transport facilities from Mehre bus-Stand to Una,Hamirpur ,Mandi,Bilasppur ,Nadaun by buses .There is frequent bus services to reach in the college from the places Bijjar, ,Dhaneta,Gumarwin ,Bilaspur,Mandi ,Jahu Bhota,Saloni ,Galore Shahtalii, Bangana and ,Una. At present, the college has an intake of 100 B.Ed students for two years B.Ed programme .The college is having its own U-Shaped building .It has well-furnished LIBRARY ,Separate Class Rooms ,Laboratories , Assembly Hall, Common Room ,Sports Room, ICT resource room ,Purified Drinking Water Facility, Sanitary And Electric Facilities which are properly arranged in the college premises. Separate toilet facilities are available for the students and staff. The aim of the college is to transform the hidden, unlimited potentialities of individual into creativity, empowerment and prosperity of the nation with humanity. To make the pupil teachers all rounder, the college is providing all facilities which are essential for their betterment.
