      Available College Facilities & Amenities

      List of facilities available at School of Engineering and Technology, KR Mangalam University, Gurgaon for students.

      All the classrooms of the college are well furnished with all modern facilities.
      The Central Library, the knowledge hub of KRMU, is housed in the basement of the main building in the campus. Video cameras are placed at strategic points in the library for surveillance. Many knowledge based services like that of reference, comprehensive access to books, journals, thesis and dissertations, reports, surveys covering diverse disciplines, Bibliography, MALIBNET service, DELNET, Reprography, CD-ROM Databases, Internet browsing and e-services including are provided by the library.Objectives of the library is to procure, organize and to disseminate information in different formats, to support and promote the use of rich and diverse collection among the users, to preserve and house the collection for posterity, to enhance and support the academic environment by providing seamless access to information resources.
      The University Library offers an Inter-Library Loan service which provides access to material not held within KRMU whilst also supplying material from its own stock to other libraries, including:
      Books (and chapters from books)
      Thesis
      Journal articles (and loan of whole issues)
      Conference papers
      Selected microforms
      Anyone who has access to the University Library may use this service.

      The Library provides IT facilities to enable readers to consult our electronic resources, catalogues, and image collections, to make use of word-processing and spreadsheet software, and for general internet and e-mail access. Digital Resources Access PCs are available within the library. The library provides a range of services from scanning and photocopying, single image capture, image reproductions and large format printing for poster and exhibition material
      State of the art labs that allow the students to experiment and put to practice what they have learnt in theory.
      Sports facilities are available in the campus. Annual Sports event is held in the month of December in every year
      State of the art auditoriums with good seating capacity that act as a common ground for students, faculty, and corporate personalities for regular interfaces, conferences and other events. For events of a smaller scale, the Seminar Halls, equipped with advanced presentation tools, are the ideal venue.
      Good transportation facilities for its students, staff members and visiting guests.
      As an interim arrangement, for the convenience of its students, limited accommodation, on a shared basis, with clean and hygienic dinning facilities separately for both boys and girls has been arranged by the University.
      These hostels are spacious, well ventilated and shuttle bus services are available from hostel to the university. All the hostel rooms are fully furnished with beds, study tables, chairs and inbuilt cupboards and are equipped with ceiling fans and lights. Special facilities for air conditioner and refrigerator use on payment basis are also available. The hostels have 24 hours security arrangements with fully trained Guards and round the clock CCTV vigil.
      The hostels are a hub of leisure activities. Students are encouraged to pursue a wide range of extracurricular activities and hobbies in their free time and events both entertaining and competitive are proposed to be arranged quite frequently.
      Proper healthcare arrangements are done by college. Proper Medical Facilities are available
      24-hours internet access for all. Wi-Fi for all
      State of the art computer centres that provide computing facilities comprising of the latest computer machines linked to a wide range of software, communication and print services.
      The campus is WI FI enabled and students in many programmemes are provided with wireless laptops to help them access the world anytime, anywhere.
      Latest software like SAS, PROWESS, ORACLE etc, are used to enable work on data analysis, web technologies and software designing.
      The Intranet enables close on-line interaction between faculty and students for online interaction
