Department of Zoology
B.Sc. (Hons. School): (a) Senior Secondary Certificate (+2) examination from Punjab School Education Board with at least 50 % marks in aggregate in any science group or any other examination with 50 % marks in aggregate recognized equivalent to (a) above by the Guru Nanak Dev University.
M.Sc. (Hons.): B.Sc. (10+2+3) in any science subject (any combination) from Guru Nanak Dev University with at least 50 % marks in aggregate or an equivalent examination from any other University recognized as such.
Admission for the above course will be based on merit prepared of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
Ph.D.: The candidate having passed M.Sc. degree in the relevant or allied subject with 55 % marks (50% for SC / ST).
Admission shall be based on the merit of the candidate in the Eligibility Test to be conducted by the University.
Exemption for Ph.D.: UGC / CSIR –JRF, NET or equivalent qualified candidates.
