Maharaja Agrasen PG College for Women, Jhajjar saw its emergence in the year 1984, with the devoted, sincere and visionary team of Aggarwal Community. The college is affiliated to MDU, Rohtak and is situated right in the heart of the town. The long-cherished dream of women education unfolded into reality with the most sincere and dedicated efforts of the Management Committee and Government authorities.

This institution evolved as an undergraduate college under the faculty of Arts but now it has 18 teaching departments under the faculties of Arts, Science and Commerce. The NAAC peer team visited the college on 4th and 5th January 2003 and accredited the institution B +. The college also provides education for Post Graduate Courses in English, Hindi, Mathmatics and Commerce.

Dasmesh Girls College an eternal link in the immortal chain of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Educational Trust, Chak Alla Baksh, Mukerian was established in December, 2000. It is an institution where learning is a religious habit. It aims at imparting value-based education. This seat of learning has been enunciating the gospels of Guru Gobind Singh in particular and the message of humanity in general.

During 41 years, the managing committee, the principals and the staff of S.P.N. College contributed a lot to the expansion and progress of this institution. In the beginning, the college had five classrooms and the student strength was less than four hundred. But the college continued making tremendous progress every year.

Established in 1968, Master Tara Singh Memorial College For Women, Ludhiana was the first women college to commemorate the cherished memory of Master Tara Singh-an educationist and a great visionary-to serve the cause of women education with about 150 students and 7 teachers. Government Pandit Madhav Rao Sapre College was established on 11th November 1989 in the name of Pandit Madhav Rao Sapre. College is affiliated to Bilaspur University.
