Yasin Meo Degree College, the only minority college in the Western Part of the country, is named after the Late Chaudhary Mohd Yasin Khan the famous and illustrious leader of Mewat. This college was established in July, 1971. In fact, it was established in 1923 as a school named Brayne Meo High School by Chaudhary Mohammad Yasin Khan with the motivation of Mr. F.L.Brayne, the Deputy Commissioner of Gurgaon.

Nirankari Baba Gurbachan Singh Memorial College, Sohna is run by Nirankari Mission. The Institute was established in the year 1975 at Sohna, with the object of providing education to all, in the field of Arts & Commerce.

The Government College Tigaon was established in July 1971. It was established as Shaheed Smarak College, Tigaon and later taken over by the government on 27-05-1981.
