MAIMT was founded in 1997, the golden jubilee year of Indian independence, as a result of vision of Maharaja Agrasen Sabha. MAIMT is affiliated to Kurukshetra University and approved by AICTE. It stands today as one of the premier Management & IT institute of the state and enjoys the status of being among the top rated B Schools of India. The Institute is situated in Jagadhri, District Yamuna Nagar. The twin cities of Yamuna Nagar - Jagadhri are situated on the bank of holy river Yamuna and are known for metal and ply board industry. More than 500 small and medium undertakings along with big industries of international repute like BILT, ISGEC and Yamuna Gases etc. are operational here. Jagadhri is situated at a distance of 220 kms, and 100 kms, from National Capital Delhi and State Capital, Chandigarh respectively.

Established in 1997, it is accredited from ISO, Govt. of India, AICTE and it is affiliated to Kurukshetra University. MAIMT, Yamunanagar offers 6 courses across 2 streams namely Management, IT and across 4 degrees like BCA, BBA, MBA, MCA.Hostel facility is available for its students.
