Government Danteshwari PG College was founded by the Govt of Chhattisgarh on the occasion of 36th Independence day of India, dated 15th August, 1982 Code No.- 64/04/4504. The first brick of present college building was set on the date of 5th October, 1986 by the contemporary state minister Rail transportation Indian Government respectable Shri Madhav Rao Sindhiya Ji in the chairmanship of respected Chief Minister of Madhya Predesh Shri Motilal Vora Ji.

Government Mayuradhwaj Mahadani Raja Postgraduate College, Champa is an educational institution registered under Act 2F & 12B of University Grants Commission and affiliated to Gurughasidas Central University, Bilaspur, which was established in 1972. The main objective of the college is to provide a suitable educational environment to them by catering to the requirements of higher education at the regional level.

In the year 1984, a visionary foresaw the great oak within the tiny acorn which he planted and nurtured with care and dedication. Government Rani Rashmi Devi Singh College, Khairagarh Raj began its academic odyssey in pursuit of excellence on 2 November 1983 in the polytechnic college with Art Faculty. The college was shifted to its present site in year 1992-93. Formally it was known as Govt College Khairagarh. It was re-manned on 1996 after the name of famous leader Rani Rashmi Devi Singh owing to her contribution towards its establishment.
