RISHI BANKIM CHANDRA EVENING COLLEGE is the renamed Evening Section of the erstwhile Rishi Bankim Chandra College, named after the Great Literateur Rishi Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay who composed inter alia, the hymn, "Bande Mataram," later to become India's National Song. The College is situated near his birthplace, Kantalpara, Naihati and caters to the students of a vast hinterland spread over North 24 Parganas as also of adjoining districts of Nadia and Hooghly.

St. Thomas' College, owned by the Archdiocese of Trichur is located in the heart of Thrissur city in Kerala State in India. This temple of learning was founded in 1889 by the first Vicar Apostolic of Trichur, Rt. Rev. Adolphus Edwin Medlycott, PhD. This college played a very important role in the development of Kerala. It is the first College established by the diocesan clergy in India.
