Kirti M. Doongursee College, Mumbai was earlier Know as Bombay College was presided over by an eminent educationist Dr. Sarvpalli Radhakrishnan, the then Vice - President of India. The Society received a donation of Rs 2 lakhs from Seth Manoobhai Doongursee in memory of his late son Kirti M. Doongursee, who was a student of this college.

Thiruvalluvar Government Arts College, Rasipuram is situated in a rural area, which has been providing quality education since 1968.
