Located in S.A. Jain College, Ambala City is affiliated Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. The college offers under-graduation and post-graduation courses. At present, with the strength of 2000 students, the college imparts instructions in the subject of M.A. Economics, M.Com. and M.Sc (Software) at the post- graduate level. At undergraduate level too, apart from the staple and mainstream courses like Commerce, Arts, Science and Computer Software, the college is upgrading erudition by adding on the latest emerging job-oriented courses like mass-communication, web designing, e-commerce, computer assembly and maintenance, computer and office management, B.P.Ed. Etc.Access to Internet, Zerox machine, overhead projector, LCD Multimedia and well equipped science and computer labs are the facilities at the disposal of egile learners., Way back in 1938, the great Jainacharya Shrimad Vijay Vallabh Surishwarji Maharaj envisioned a dream to establish educational institutions to propagate a harmonious, secular and awakened society where the mind would be without fear and the head was held high. And this saw the evolution of Shri Atamanand Jain College that initially was started as an intermediate college at a time when there was no college within the periphery of 200 Kms., At present, with the strength of 2200 students, the college imparts instructions in the subject of M.A. Economics, M.Com. and M.Sc (Software) at the post- graduate level. At undergraduate level too, apart from the staple and mainstream courses like Commerce, Arts, Science and Computer Software, the college is upgrading erudition by adding on the latest emerging job-oriented courses like mass-communication, web designing, e-commerce, computer assembly and maintenance, computer and office management, B.P.Ed. Etc.Access to Internet, Zerox machine, overhead projector, LCD Multimedia and well equipped science and computer labs are the facilities at the disposal of egile learners., Spread over an area of 13 acres, the College is having sprawling campus consisting of 15 Smart Classrooms, 38 classrooms, spacious playground, modern Gymnastic Hall, Well-stocked library, a throbbing career guidance cell personally monitored by the principal, seminar room and big hall. Absolutely immune from the outside political interference, a casual visit to the lush green college campus, strict discipline and quiet ambience in the academic zone puts a visitor in awe. A new women hostel is the latest addition to the campus. An auitorium with sitting capacity of more than 700 people is on the verge of completion., If knowledge comes and wisdom lingers, education loses its purpose. To enhance the overall personality of our students, extra- curricular activities like drama, music, debates, elocaution, poetry, playing musical instruments are our regular activities, which go on bringing laurel to the college at the University, State and National level., In sports, our college bagged overall Sports Championship among all colleges of Kurukshetra University for six times during last sven years. The institution is making its presence felt not only on the state and national level but at international level too. Many students have paticipated at international competitions. The list of gold, silver and bronze medals won by our sports persons is too long to be produced here.., Our College forays into the emotional and spiritual growth of our students too by arranging informative lectures and workshops pertaining to socio-cultural fibre of the society. N.S.S., N.C.C., Women Cell, Literary Society, Environment Society, Commerce Association, Science and Computer Society, Economics Forum and Social Science forum are the various active cells in this direction.., The College is alma-mater of some of the most distinguished personalities such as His Excellency Late Dr. Suraj Bhan Ji, Former Dy.
