WBJEE Previous Year Question Papers: Download and Practice
Previous WBJEE papers help candidates understand the OMR format, question wording, paper-wise time limits and three-category marking scheme. WBJEEB's official WBJEE page links to its Old Question Papers archive; use the Board's files wherever available and confirm the exam year and paper before downloading.
WBJEE 2026 paper pattern
WBJEE 2026 was an offline OMR exam with two two-hour papers: Paper I (Mathematics, 75 questions/100 marks) and Paper II (Physics, 40 questions/50 marks, plus Chemistry, 40 questions/50 marks). The total was 155 questions and 200 marks. Category I had 1-mark questions, Category II 2-mark questions, and Category III 2-mark multiple-correct questions; category-specific negative and partial marking rules apply.
How to find and download papers
- Open the official WBJEEB WBJEE page and choose its Old Question Papers resource.
- Select the year and paper/subject; check that the PDF is a question paper and not an answer key or a different WBJEEB examination.
- Save the original file and note its year, paper and set code. If the Board does not provide a paper for a year, do not label a coaching or memory-based reconstruction as official.
- Attempt Mathematics and the Physics-Chemistry paper within the applicable two-hour limits, then score by that year's official rules and set-specific key.
How question papers help
- Builds familiarity with OMR answering and the three question categories.
- Helps identify which subject units need more revision.
- Supports realistic two-paper timing and checking strategy.
- Shows how multiple-correct questions and partial-credit rules work.
Do not compare raw marks across years without accounting for the paper, set and official scoring rules for each cycle.
