WBJEE Answer Key and OMR Response Sheet: Challenge Process
For WBJEE 2026, WBJEEB published provisional/model answer keys on 27 May and accepted key challenges through 29 May 2026. The Board later published the final answer keys on 17 June; scores and ranks were based on the reviewed final keys. Dates for a future cycle will be announced separately.
View the provisional key and challenge a question
- Use the official WBJEE candidate portal and sign in when WBJEEB releases the provisional/model key.
- Match the question booklet/set and question number carefully; a different set key may not correspond to your paper.
- Submit any evidence-based challenge through the official online interface before the stated deadline.
- For the 2026 key challenge, WBJEEB required a non-refundable ₹500 processing fee per question. The 2026 response window and fees are historical and must not be assumed for another cycle.
- Save the payment and challenge acknowledgement. WBJEEB reviews challenges and publishes the final key; its decision is final under the notice.
OMR image and recorded response sheet
WBJEEB's 12 June 2026 notice made candidates' OMR images and machine-read responses available for review. Candidates could challenge a captured response through 14 June 2026, with a non-refundable ₹500 fee per response. Compare the displayed response with the OMR image and booklet details, and use the current notice for any future review window.
Official notices
Use the official WBJEE portal for the provisional key, response sheet, final key and challenge instructions. The Board calculates scores and ranks using the final reviewed key and responses.
