Eligibility
CMAT is open to candidates with a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institution. Final-year undergraduate students may generally apply if they can complete the degree and provide proof of qualification by the admission deadline specified by the institution. No particular undergraduate subject stream is required to attempt the test. The 2027 Information Bulletin has not been published; confirm its exact eligibility wording, degree-completion deadline and any category or document requirements when applying. A CMAT score does not override an institution's own admission criteria.
Application fee
NTA had not announced the CMAT 2027 application fee as of 9 October 2026. Application charges can differ by candidate category and may be subject to payment-gateway charges or taxes. Check the fee table and final payable amount displayed in the official application portal before paying. Keep the payment receipt and submitted application confirmation; do not reuse a previous-cycle fee amount as a current fee.
Latest published exam pattern
The latest published cycle reference reviewed for this page is the CMAT 2026 structure. It comprised 100 multiple-choice questions in a three-hour computer-based examination. NTA may revise question counts, timing, scoring or section names for 2027; use the new official bulletin as the final authority.
